Default Wednesday Afternoon

We launched at Shoreline at around 2:30 after visiting with Chris, JoeZ and Matt at Hot Spots Bait and Tackle. We got 3 dozen of the biggest, liveliest shrimp I've ever seen.

After searching around on some of my favorite flats we headed out to the pass to try and locate a few Sheepies for the dinner table. Current was ripping so hard around the pass that 3 oz's wasn't near enough to keep our bait near the bottom.

So leaving there we discussed going to Fairpoint and try to throw for a few trout, Dawna over ruled that idea and off to 3MB we went. We ended up catching about 6 white trout, 1 Black Drum, 1 Bull Red, 2 Black Snapper and 1 Gag grouper.

Nothing really big or all that special, but we had a good time and got to drink a few beers and still got to bring some fish home for PoBoys.

Picture of the Sunset that Dawna took while we were running back to Shoreline

Small gag that ate a HUGE live shrimp

Dawna with her Black Drum....

Heres my redfish (sorry the pictures all crooked)...I think it was something like 35.5 inches.
