Default Specks in East Bay

Has anyone living on the south side of East Bay noticed a giant migration of stud Specks?Saturday at about 1:30 in the afternoon (which is not normal anywhere) the specks were everywhere and huge(over 24" on all) and hitting live croakers like nobodies business. It was awesome!! 1 28" red as well.I've never seen them so thick in the back yard before, I might not have to leave the house anymore.

I was trying out a new rod /reel set up and did'nt expect to catch anything so no camera.Sorry.

East Bay just has huge freaking specks, I mean huge. 24" sounds about right for the average size. There are monsters around Garcon and further north of there as well.
