Default Slam in Mulat

Fished Mulat Bayou this morning, hit the water at about 7 and tried a few known speck holes, and caught two or three small specks. At around 10 I was about ready to head in, figuring the cloudy water was killing the bite, but I decided to try some new areas and banks. I ended up finding tons of fish and have some nice new honey holes. Hooked up with 7 or 8 specks, a couple nice 22-24"s and 4 reds between 10-17 1/2" as well an 18 inch flounder. Turned out to be a nice day of fishing even though the wind started picking up around the time I started finding fish, then my trolling motor battery decided it had enough, which pretty much sent me home due to the wind.

No, its cool man, I'm not mad, I seriously had no idea, and I'm saying thanks for the info. I only came up a half inch short, the specks were in and overslot, the flounder was 18" and the one red was 17 1/2". So I had the as close as you can get inshore slam. :letsdrink

I wasn't aware that all fish had to be legal length to be a slam....anyone have a IGFA book handy? I always thought it was just by species with no length requirements since length varies by state. anyways congrats, its a slam in my book
