Default Scenic Hwy. Specks

Yesterday afternoon and the day before I've had a chance to get out and wet a line around lunch thru 3 or so. 2 days ago I was fishing out from Macky Bluffs neighborhood with live shrimp. The water was moving and the specks were feeding. I caught a dozen or so from 14 to 17 inches(all released). Yesterday I hit the water below Dairy Queen and drifted a DOA glow shrimp around some rock/shell structure. Same deal moving water and feeding specks. I caught 8 or 9 specks in an hour and a half with a bonus 15" flounder(kept the flounder and 1 speck). With the water cooling the fish are starting to move up toward the rivers and feed for winter. Good luck out there everyone.

how exactley do you get to the water behind DQ? Do you park at DQ and walk down the cliff or park somewhere different and walk a little bit?

Thanks

You're right-just park at DQ and go around the back by the dumpsters. It's a bit of a walk so be careful.

Great job- Sure do hope this rain coming doesnt shut them down for long. The water has been nice and clear up on the north end. I love it when they school up and are hungry.

Thanks for the report and keep them coming.
