Default saturday at the pass fishing report

caught two 20 inch reds, a bunch of bluefish, a jack ,couple of grey snapper, a huge stingray, a little cat. and three grouper, but none of the grouper were keepers. the big one keep snag the bait and running back under the rocks and the snapping my line, i snap about 10 lines. does any one know a trick to get them out with snapping your line

those small grouper are alot of fun on light tackle. As far as getting some legal ones you would be better off fishing more over the top them so you can win the battle. Now fishing onshore.. Try chumming the deeper water where you are casting. Leavea hand sized pinfish slightly scored for scent on a fishfinder rig and you will catch a quality fish. Most likely more redfish then anything else.. But you might get that grouper far enough away from his hole from the chum and he will gladly inhale that pinfish! Good luck!

We were out there also..Spanish, Bluefish, Hardtails and Skippies everywhere!
