Default Santa Rosa Sound

Flats Report Gulf Breeze South side:

It's still a little early, probably3 to 4 weeks awayfor the good bite to turn on. I hooked a 12" Spanish and two seconds later a 6' Blacktip Shark was on. The fightlasted just afew seconds, didn't have the camera ready it happened so quick. I hope all those fishing that Kayak FishingTournament kept their feet out of the water if you know what I mean!!!!!

He came around the boatseveral times but never had camera ready.

Hereis Tammy with a undersize Trout caught on DOA glow shrimp/popping cork.I think he was lost!!!!!!

Oh well it was better than sitting at the house.

Click on "LINK" www.live.maps.com

(+) Zoom In to you get close to location, then click (Bird's Eye) only works close up,you can also rotate the view for a better picture. You might have to search in (Aerial View)because bird's eye only has two views. To move arounduse your mouse on the screen (Grab Hand) to get best picture. For best results view in FULL screen it'sin your TOOLS drop down menu.

Thanks for the report and the link to the maps site. That is a really neat site. Kind of surprised that the fishing is still not going well on the flats. Did you fish into the afternoon when the tide was coming in?

We fished from 7:00 to 11:00 am and I believe it was incoming tide.

That's a shame! Blacktip eats good on the grill too!

Thanks for the map site!
