Default Report Sunday 27 Jan 2008

Took the boat out for her real maiden voyage, Well left sherman cove at 10 am or so and headed out the pass towards the russian freighter got about 1 mile or so out of the pass and realized my comms were down so rather than try my luck and have something happen and have no way to call for assistance. anyhow we turned around and trolled around the bay for a while and then went to three mile bridge where we anchored up and threw out some shrimp. I hooked into 4 whiting and then it went dead, nothing not a single bite for around an hour. then at about 3pm the trout bite went insane. for 30 minutes I had to rods in the boat back and forth back and forth. as soon as one was back into the water the other was doubled over!! I ended up only keeping four ( I only keep what I can eat no sense in wastingor killing needlessly) good sized trout. pics are on the way soon have to get them from mybuddy from work since they were on his camera. I will get em on here soon. tight lines and screamin drag

Nice trout catch!

Try some trolling at 3 mile. Reds were biting Saturday. Landed one 35 in red.
