Default RED-SPEC REPORT MARCH 20

Took Me, Myself and I out today to try something different; Wanting to put my HLSPompano Seminar to use. Wind Blowing 15+ from the North, headed to the beachside of Frt Pickens. Nada, except a wad of reds that knew exactly how far I could cast and stayed out 15ft further, then theybroke apart, rushed the boat and blew right by me!:boo

So back to my shallow waterelement I went, I'm not giving any specifics because I know there is a big money tournament that I'm not fishing. :reallycrying
1st Red was beauty, but he broke the slot at 28.5", interestingly, he was only 7.25lbs.

Note the BigBlue tail,I knew I was sunk when I saw how big his tail was,
the pinched tail blew me away!

I then proceeded to follow my instincts and ended up with 9 Reds, 7 Specs. 1/2 the specs were keepers with the longest going 18", the reds were a mixed bag from over to slightly under and 3 slots.I kept a 22" red for dinner knowing he wasn't winning anyone a tournament, all other fish released!

Hope everyone has good day tommorrow!
