Default Red Fish 3MB

The weather was too nice to not go fishing,,, but all my fishing buddies had to work (O'Well)... got to the bridge about 3pm... Using my 4' ultra-light pole with 6# line and a DOA Shrimp, I was going to get a few trout for bait.... As it hit the water on my first cast, and before it could begin to sink, I saw a small red coming up for it and then the fight was on.... trying not to loose it while trying to get the net was not easy.... finally got it to the boat,,, 26 1/2 " in the cooler and on the grill tomorrow... :takephoto

After that, caught lots of white trout,, saw a few Red following the white trout as I reeled them in,,,,, had one Red snatch the trout off the hook before I could get it to the boat,,,,,then about 8pm has I was reeling my 4" Gulp shrimp in for the last time, bam.... the fight was on....a nice 34"Red.... great night....

Nice report. I went out w/ the kids too last night. They had a blast w/ the white trout for a couple hours (as I fought off the Pelicans) and my wife landed a decent sheepshead. Didn't see any redfish but was still a great evening to be out...
