Default Quick wading trip on Scenic

Got out to the chimney this AM to throw some plastics. 8# line, 1/8 oz jighead, 5" rootbeer/gold flake soft plastic. I caught a half dozen sppecks(14-17"), 2 reds(16, 19"), and a few croaker. I did lose a nice flounder(22-23") as I was walking him to shore.I didn't have a net with me so I wasgoing to beach him. Just asI waswalking to shore the hook pulled. My drag wasn't too tight, the fish was swimming calmly, and I didn't give him anyslack(don't know what happened). I guess that's just fishing. Oh well those are the ones that keep you coming back. All fish were released and allin all it was a nice morning.

Tight lines,

Jason

Great day but you let dinner get away. Crab stuffed flounder doesn't get much better than that.

X2 If you can't get crab, try mixing some apple and bulk jimmy dean sausage with bread crumbs , it's awesome.

FYI watch your corn hole around there.:moon
