Default PB Black Drum

The only catch last Thursday was this girl and 2 gar! Not what I wanted but at least something to talk about. She hit a 3.5" Little Dipper on trout gear. Had to chase her with the trolling motor but managed to land her. Measured 36" long and 12" tall. Did the calculator and come in around 35#. Had a knowledgable guy say it's probably overestimated. Either way it's my personal best.

Like trying to raise a large tree stump off the bottom that then runs away from you. Nice job, especially on lighter tackle! I managed to boat one that size with one of my bass rods and a baitcaster, took forever and don't know how it never broke me off. Lots of fun!
Tight lines!

Congrats I got one almost that size in the inter coastal last summer from the bank....I was half a mile from where I started by the time I landed and released it. It was a HOOT !
