Default NAS Seawall Report

Well i started off fishing the portside seawall at about 6:45 this morning with a friend for about two hours and produced nothing but a catfish and a scrawled burbfish something like that, it was built like a tank with horns and weird blue spots.... anyways after that we moved over to the ramp to the right of portopps only to be kicked out about 10 minutes later by a very obnoxious cop who though I was a tourist :nonono In the ten minutes we were there we picked up 3 ladfish. After that we moved all along the seawall by the gym and managed to catch a bunch of hardtails, ladyfish, pinfish, pigfish, tons of mullet and a tripletail. The pictures only show some of the fish that were caught, we through back a bunch of mullet and ladyfish that were caught. We would have fished longer to get the hoped for redfish but the weather had different plans and Indiana Jones didn't want to get struck by lightning.

I know a Filipino recipe that will make ladyfish taste delicious by making them into meatballs, hardtaild are good fried if you cut the red meat out, and mullet are bait except for the massive one

Quite a mixed bag. I love tripletail and I'll admit that not only have I eaten hardtails but that I liked them as well. As for the ole ladyfish, I'll just stick to using them for cut bait.
