Default My first Red

Just started fishing about 8 months ago and mainly only fished out on the beach for sharks, lady's and blues. My buddy started me fishing off of Scenic Hwy at all different kinds of places. On 10/04, we went out at sunrise, probably around 6:30, and got the beautiful attached picture. Fished for about 2 hours total that day, wading and just casting from the shore. Using gulp peeler crabs, I caught 2 reds, both good sizes. Only have a picture of the one I kept, as the other one we never even took out of the water. Also, caught a bunch of hard head catfish, fun to catch, but can't keep em. Anyways, took the red home and made some delicous blackened redfish.

Yeah, I only thought you got those pics when you went out for sunsets, that was an awesome sunrise, couldn't be beat. Only bad part about it was I was sharing it with 3 fishing buddies instead of a beautiful lady friend.
