Default More pure form of fishing ?

Had a hard week, busy as hell, stressed, went to Academy at lunch time and got some penny gulp shrimp, rushed home after work and grabbed my new Penn and went to east bay to do some wade fishing. Got in the water around 7pm, water was like glass, full sunset, just PERFECT, had lots of small bites but landed nothing, then I get a DOORMAT flounder, I am chest deep in water get him right to me and am raising him out of the water and just reaching for him and plop he drops off my hook and swims away !!!!! But I couldn't help but thinking is there a more pure form of fishing ? Quietly wading, glass water, sunset, working thru the docks and around the grass flats !!!!!! Great evening fishing !

Gotta give you credit on the wade fishing at sunset. Too bad the doormat dropped off. Do you use a cirlce hook with the "Gulps"?

need to wk the flounder to a soft landing net....too bad you lost it....but yeah I can picture your day..nice indeed.....only thing.... Idon't know where on east bay you do fish, what I know there is a huge$#@% alligator somewhere in that area...watch out specially at dusk. Last time it was seen was a week ago around the 87 boat ramp.
