Default Johnson's beach sound side

Waded the sound side from 5:30 to 7:00pm. Fishing with live shrimp I got one redfish about 19", 3 pig fish, 1 croaker and 1 pin fish. The redfish had a major wound on its back. The woundwas still somewhat fresh. It was meaty looking but not bloody. It looked a few days old or maybe a week or so. Obviously the fish was still feeding and it pulled a decent amount of drag so it might be able to make afull recovery. That fish is lucky I didn't bring a cooler though

Default RE: Johnson's beach sound side

Nice report. Justin and I fished there this past weekend, but didn't have any luck. It was the middle of the day and we didn't have any live bait. We did catch one ray in the cast net - fresh scallops. :hungry
