Default Jims fish camp-July 4th weekend

Had a good day of fishing this past weekend. My dad and I went out and threw our cast nets and got about 4-5 dozen peter mullet, pinfish, and bullminnows. Caught a few reds, specs and flounder. A lot of them were a 1/2" to an inch to short to keep but managed to get a couple keeper flatties. Here are a few pics of the trip:

Caught this 22 incher...wieghed about 5lbs. Caught him on a 5' UltraLight UglyStick/Penn 420SSg on 6lb Stren. 3 splits and and a #6 EagleClaw hook and using a live peter mullet.

And a bunch of big mullet my dad caught with his 12' cast net:

These black drum were caught early last year, under the I-10 bridge near East Milton...my brother on the left and his friend on the right.

These were caught on 3" Gulp shrimp with white jig head:

If you're not sure google is your friend....lol

Black Drum Size Limits/Daily Limits

Not Less than 14" or more than 24"

5 per person per day / May posses one over 24"

And i wouldn't advise keeping them this big...don't taste too good...lol
