Default I got SLIMED !

Have tried to back off fishing since I really shouldn't with no job, and no incomming income, but couldn't take it yesterday so I took the boat out to the sound launching at Oriole Beach in gulf breeze. went out accross from Portofino with live shrimp and BAM Sail cat, slimy SOB, get him off and BAM Sailcat, get him off and BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM Sail cat Sail cat Sail cat Sail cat Sail cat Sail cat Sail cat Sail cat Sail cat Sail cat Sail cat Sail cat Sail cat Sail cat Sail cat Sail cat Sail cat Sail cat Sail cat Sail cat Sail cat Sail cat Sail cat Sail cat Sail cat Sail cat Sail cat Sail cat Sail cat Sail cat. By now the boat has so much slime on it I am slipping like hell (made sure the fillet knives and hooks were stowed away) and I finally hook a white trout and figure that maybe if I get rid of the live shrimp and try a big chunk of fish I can get something other than DAMN CATS ! So I rig up the whole head on one pole then chunks of meat on other poles so now I start catching BIG ASS.........wait for it.........wait for it.......wait for it...........Sail cat Sail cat Sail cat Sail cat Sail cat Sail cat Sail cat Sail cat Sail cat Sail cat Sail cat Sail cat Sail cat Sail cat Sail cat Sail cat Sail cat Sail cat Sail cat Sail cat Sail cat Sail cat Sail cat Sail cat Sail cat Sail cat Sail cat Sail cat Sail cat Sail cat, I mean freaking huge !!!!!!!!!!!!! Finally I give up to go see some friends camped out by Portofino and drink beer, by the time I get there it looked like Poseidon himself had blown his nose all over me and my boat ! But it took my mind off of not having a job. All in all good day on the water !

Hey CCC-Can Catch Catfeesh! That could be your nitch!

No worries, mate, we've all been there. and it's that time of year when cats are everywhere, and bluefish, sharks, mackeral. Give it a month or two, it'll change up. And maybe you'll have work too.

Persist, my Friend, Persist.

Did I read/hear somewhere that sail cats were an invasive species?
