Default He caught our dinner again

I took the family out yesterday fishing some submerged junk I found in the sound. Hooked Andy up with some live shrimp on bottom and he took care of dinner. Headed over towards pickens and my wife landed a few blues. I smoked up the blues and spanish and they were actually pretty good. Andy helped with frying the fish and making hushpuppies. It's been a good summer, I hate to him go back to school.

Good deal Dave. Andy is turning into a little fishing machine. See ya in the morning for some catfish action.

Right on,Andy is stoked! He has never fished freshwater for food before. I remember bringing home buckets of blue gill and redbellies that my dad would cook up. I took alot of pride in bringing fish hame and helping dad feed the family. It's so much fun being a dad!

He has it down pretty goood now. I just set him up with a live shrimp put backwards on a kahle hook with a half ounce of lead about 2 feet up the line. Let it settle and work back very slowly. They liked the baby shrimp better than the biguns.

BTW was that you we fished next to in our boats next to the old peir at pickins? Would have been a earlier this year.
