Default good week for speckled trout

This whole week me and my dad (reelgood) went trout fishing early every morning, just when the sun was coming up. We fished with live shrimp and bull minnows on some Cajun Thunder popping corks. The wind was a little big of a pain but we were fine just drifting out and repositioning the boat every now and then. They were typically in a little bit deeper water than I'm used to catching them in, but we had good mornings the whole week. The bite was a little slow Thursday, but it's good to have to work for your catch every now and then. We caught several keepers, especially this moring. One of the most pleasent weeks I have ever had fishing and couldn't have asked for more.

I think this is the first post I have made with pictures. I can't remember because I haven't used my username that much. But I have just been throwing those shrimp and bull minnows in about 5 or 6 feet of water where ever I can and been doing fine.

Thanks for the welcome and I will make sure my next report looks snazzy. I have read the forum for a long time and figured it was about time I contributed.

Thanks for contributing! I wish more people had that same mindset. It seems like there are always way more guests on here than members.
