Default Friday Flounder Report

Well we were gonna have our tournament between my dad and I vs my brother (kingling) and Sam Roberts (Alum Maverick) out at Garcon but we got there and it was way to choppy. So we packed up the boats and went to Escambia to try and find some fish. Ben and Sam went one way and we went the other. Working together to find some clean salty water was gonna be hard. Well my dad and I found a good school of flounder and quickly put 4 in the boat.We called up Ben and Sam to come on over. Between the 4 of us we ended up catching 11 flounder ranging between 13 and 18". All fish were caught on jigs.

I know there is only 8 fish in the pic, but we had already started cleanin one:banghead and Sam took 2 with him.

We were gonna try to go againtoday but having some battery problems, hopefully we can get out tomarrow.

Nice job. How long do the flounder stay around down here. Do you have any tips on where to try, Escambia Bay or towards the Naval Air Station. I haven't caught any flounder yet.

Thanks
