Been cooking them on the half shell on the grill for several years now. Try making a mixture of dijon mustard and mayo (amounts vary depending on how much spice you like). Slather that stuff on the meat side, shut the lid, and walk away. Once that mixture turns into a nice crust, you're done! Delish!

Sure did! As for redfish on the halfshell we cooked up our reds in the same manner and they came out great! to me its the only way to eat em

I rig it Texas style, with either a offsetshank hook used for worms (with no weight). Orone of the weighted weedless setups with the little insert or screw to hod the bait.
