Default Fish River

Went to Fish River this morning to catch a few specks for my mom and pop. Started at daylight with my son and fished till 11:00 and did not get a single bite :banghead :banghead. This is my third trip to three diffrent places in as many weeks and still no specks. Well guess I will have to try some live bait cause artificial is not working for me.

Warm weather is messing with the Trout bite right now. Tuesday morning would be a good time to try again.

Might be a dumb question,What in the hell is fish river? :doh And with the wheather being soo unpredictable, you must try many different techniques and baits. Artificial and real, at different retrieval speeds and water depths.

Hey River Rat, I know how ya feel, I read your report from Browns landing(bass). My son and I went to give it a try in our plastic bass boat w/trollin motor, Mistake. We went right in the little canal that goes to Cooies landing, and the water was so swift that we couldnt fish, than we hit a log jam. it took 20 min to get off the log jam, then my son had to paddle like hell with the trollin motor on full blast to get back. We thought we were going to have to call air rescue.:doh Then we went to Bare lake, and got skunked.
