Default The Fish Loved The Live Bait Today

Headed out to do some wade fishing with my girlfriend and some buddies. The bite started off slow, but out of nowhere it turned on. You couldn't get your bait in the water fast enough! Ended the day with 3 redfish, and 2 speckled trout with one being over 25 inches. Check out the trip here if yall want!

Great video, were y'all in the sound or the bay? Trying to figure out my game plan for tomorrow.

I realize you're trying to get good video and pictures, but at 3:51 it was a little painful watching you wipe the protective slime layer off the fish just before release. The slime layer protects the fish from infection among other things, so please folks, don't do that if you're releasing the fish.

And no, wetting your hand before you wipe them like that does not prevent it from removing the slime layer. It is always a good idea to wet your hands before handling fish, but that does not prevent it from happening when you wipe them like that.
