Default Emerald Coast Fishing Excursions Hammers the Fish!!

June 16th- Got the Pleasure of Guideing Jeff and and his good friend Bill on some summer time redfish action. We stuck 23 fish with 15 of them in the slot. Needless to say the bite was on.

Bill boats the first slot fish of the day

Bill with a nice 25"fish

Jeff with a nice slot fish

Double hookup!

They let the captain catch one! This fish was a winner here. 27" in the dot!

Back at portofino. Two very tired fisherman...

The next morning I guided Bill and his two sons on an anthing goes trip. We hit the wrecks for some snapper to start the day but after two keeper snapper in the boat the youngest son started feeling a little sick so we decided to come back in and chase spanish. We ended up with several nice 4lb spanish near ft pickens. After that Bill's youngest sonsays "captain Brant I really wanna catch a redfish...Ive never caught one before". So off we go to the sound to end the day. Connor hooks up first with a nice 25 in fish. It made his day...

First snapper of the day. Nice keeper

O no! Connors looking a little queezy in the background

Shawn with a nice 4lb spanish

I got a call from Jeff that night. He was the guy I took fishing Tuesday when we hammered the reds. He said his 10year old daughter Monica was dying to get on some redfish and trout action. Wewent the next afternoon. She had never caught a red before today. Here are a few pics of Monica. She was the fishing queen that day... 6 reds 7trout 3 black snapper and several spannish. Way to go Monica!

good job brant. but, where's the "special thanks to wil for telling me where to find those 23 reds" at? and thanks for taking the pictures in such a way that everyone in the panhandle isn't fishing there.

but seriously... great job. looks like a lot of satisfied customers. keep up the great work!

also, where you caught those trout, next time you're over that way, try to net a big pinfish or two and throw them off the back under a cork about 14-18" deep. lot's of good trout over in that area the past several weeks and htey've been actively eating pinfish like that. it'll give you an extra rod out while you and your customers can fish artificials.
