Default DeadeyeDave's Dilima

Well, I'm up at the crack of dawn, asusual, looking at my boat and motor, on its stand, wishing I was out targeting choctawhatchee bay or the santa rosa sound for everything, but its not meant to be right now. My dilima is unless I find a trailer, new may take 4 weeks or used unknown cause I can't find one, so I am S.O.L. I am in search of a compact p/u x cab truck, which the bed would make for a nice trailer for my 12 footer, with no luck either. So, although it is a prime morning, this Sunday, Jan. 25, I will be in my garage sipping on busch beer looking at my boat. You can't always get what you want, but you might findout you get what you need!!!

Deadeye, over and out!!!

Well if it makes you feel any better, I fished the morning in one of my "home town honey spots" and zilched out. First time in 5 years I didn't get a sheepie at the bridge this time of year. Not even a white trout. Its like they were out of fish today. Beats work though. Hang tough, like I told my buddy this am, just getting the sillies out for the season. Just wait till the tide flip-flops again. Easy Money just wait it out good things to those who wait and all that rot...

Roofordie, Hellcat171, thanks for sharing my pain. Oh yeah, looks like another good morning on this Monday, 26. Currently, the temp is 57 with winds out of the NW at 6mph. Sweet!!! Oh well, Hellcat, you said it best, this is the time to get your arrsonal ready. Today could be the day I find what I'm looking, if not, there is always tomorrow.

GL to all who can make it out!!!

May be a good deal... buy the combo and sell the boat? Just a thought. Good luck.

Thegarb, obviously, good minds think alike!!! I thought about that. I've been looking on craigslist, just haven't found the right deal. Thanks for the good advice.

Thanks for the offer Finz, but I don't have a truck right now, so I have no way to tow it back. Think I'm just going to keep looking and go when a friend with a truck wants to load it up. Thanks though. Drive safely on your trip.
