anyone else here REALLY hate it when you pick up the blue crab that does his daily stretches for flexibility?

Yeah, I hate it too! I eat the big ones and use the small ones for bait.....the smaller bastards are worse than eaters. A 3"or so shell is bait, but they reach better than the grown ups, so I've found....Caught and kept about 15 at Perdido Pass the other night and they had me bleedin all over by the time I was done lol..
