Default april 7th and 9th 2008 FOG one day and WIND the next day

my good friend mike with a huge spanish caught on a chugbug...

stringer...

6 specks

3 spanish

6 bluefish

and lots of explosions

today i had the pleasure of Mr Billy (11 y/o) he wanted redfish and the wind was not an issue for him. of course both dad and myself would have rather stayed home but we jioned Mr Billy.

working the mud flats for specks and redfish. we caught a dozen plus but no redfish.

decided to fight the wind and moved over to a couple of docks to see if we could find a keeper redfish...

Mr Billy made a great cast inside the boat house and soon was fighting to pull his first of 7 redfish to the boat...

stringer for the day...

12+ specks

12 redfish

all released except a few to eat...

i am sure glad Mr. Billy talked me into going!!!!

tight lines!

That is one gigantic spanish! That fish must have come out of the bay. It is a treat to watch one of those guys blow up on a topwater. Really neat report, the boy must have had a blast. Must be a great feeling to put people on fish like that.
