Default April 6 and April 8 Inshore

Ran two inshore trips this week. On Monday I had a couple producers from the "Disturbed" band wanting to go fishing. Despite the 25-30 knot winds all morning we were actually able to catch quite a few sheepshead in the pass. Tried pickens and a few other places but the west wind was too much to try and fight. The pass wasn't bad with the protection of Fort Mcrae from the west wind.

Yesterday (wednesday) I had the Sullivan family here from New York. I was scraping ice off the boat when I woke up and wondered what the cold front might have done to the fishing. The redfish that were on one of my favorite docks just 5 days ago were a no show yesterday. Enough of that, we decided to go back to the pass and fill the box with sheepshead. The Sullivans had a great time catching a variety of fish including, Red Snapper, Grouper, Sheepshead, flounder, bluefish and an octopus. There wasn't a lot of time for pictures on the water with the constant action, but here are a few of sheepshead back at the ramp. Enjoy! :letsdrink
