Default alright day in blackwater bay...

Me and my gramps went out fridaymorning at about6:00amand was working a top water spook on some points right out side his bayou and i hooked up with the 23inch speck and landed itand then it started lightning and raining so we came in and chilled under the boat house for about an hour and went back out around 7:45am and about 30 minutes later my grandpa(also using top water spook) got a 16 inch red and threw it back and around 8:30am i hooked up on a 24inch red and landed it on top water over all it was a descent day. Looking to go through the inner costal areanext week any suggestion on what to use or any tips on how to get em?

What a great sounding report! I still remember and look back on all the fishing trips I had with my grandfather. He always knew what it toook to bring in the fish. I think its great that you are able to go fishing with him and I hope you guys keep bringing in the nice fish! Awesome report!
