Default 07/14/08 Pass Report

Not a whole lot to report. Was not able to get in the water until 9:30 am due to work. The first part of the morning was very comfortable temperature wise due to all the clouds and the light southwest breeze. I'm not sure that it helped the fishing. We were able to scrape up one king but that was about it. This was Hunters first king.

Yeah it would have been nice to find that ray again. Didn't put it in my original post but we trolled up on this big eagle ray and I knocked the boat out of gear to reel one of my lines in due to the fact that I could see a fish under this ray. The king actually hit at the same time I knocked the boat out of gear and I lost sight of the ray after that. After catching the fish and getting him in the cooler I looked around the area for about 10 mins or so looking for the ray but he was nowhere to be found. :banghead:bangheadBut I guess that's the way it goes.
