Default What type of tackle do I need for wade fiishng

Trying to figure out some of the basics for wade fishing went out a couple times wth no luck just trying to figure what I'm doing wrong. Also want to try some different areas I usually fish the sound side with some small pinfish and fresh dead shrmp on a 1/0 or 2/0 circle hook on 20lb leader 12lb main line

Try live shrimp or live bull minnows under a popping cork in the sound on the north side in the grass. Late in the afternoon or early in the am is best. Use a 15 or 20lb leader and some smaller hooks. There have been quite a few redfish and trout around the Live Oaks area in Gulf Breeze. You also don't have to wade out very far. At high tide, the fish are in closer. Also try a Rapala Skitterwalk during low light conditions. "Walk the Dog" for some great topwater action. Good luck!

If you have a bait net try to catch some finger mullet- they produce well for me. You might also consider a spoon.
