What to fish for in Mid November on the flats?
Planing trip to Lillian Alabama 11/17/2011 thru the weekend. Any suggestions as to what to fish for on the flats and interocoastal waters?
I bought fishing cabin that I will be traveling to from close to Atlanta and
do not know what fish are biting during the fall and winter months.
What shoud I target fish for?
Thanks for any suggestions.

I haven't fished that specific area before, but the reds and specks will still be biting on the grass flats in the bay through Thanksgiving. Try 1/8 oz jigheads and a 4 inch grub fished on a spinning rod with 15# braided line and 18" of 15 lb flourocarbon.

The reds will be hugging the grass flats and piers in about 2-3 feet of water. Shrimp under a cork will catch those and jigs, shrimp, and mirrolures will all work on the grass flats.
