Default wading pensacola

Hey yall I'm in pensacola this weekend and was wondering if any of you gents would be willing to point me in the direction of where to head to do some wading fishing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Take a look at Shoreline park. Topwaters first thing in the morning, after the sun picks up a bit switch to gold spoon or soft plastic on a 1/8 or 1/4oz jig. Pick a direction and start walking and casting. Cast at docks, grass/sand edges, and anything else that stands out. If you don't get bit within 3-5 casts then move on. When you find where the fish are hanging out, they'll let you know.

Just a little further down Hwy 98 there is the Naval Live Oaks there's good wade fishing on the grass flats. Fish it just like Yaks said there's just not any docks in the area because it's a Federal Park.

Start fishing right away as you enter water. Early morning grass flats fish are shallow to deep...1-6'. Fan cast 180 degrees as you slowly walk out from beach. Stop every 20 feet or so until chest deep, or nostrils if a good swimmer. If you catch one, or get solid hit, work that area thoroughly.

Don't get hung up on equipment. Today's cheap stuff was top of the line 10 years ago. All can handle whatever you can catch inshore...if you know how to fish.
