Default Ugh!!!

We put in this morning at Archie glover at 4:00am. Started out around the railroad tracks using topwater lures, nothing.. About 6:30 the waters moving good mullet jumping all around, we switched to popping corks with DOA shrimp, nothing!! Around noon we decided we were just out their baking. We finished the day with ONE barely legal speck. We could probably count the hits we had one two hands. This is a frustrating sport when you are just starting out.

You weren't holding your mouth right... The rail road tracks north of Archie Glover is a go to place for me if I'm having a bad day else where. The specks are usually stacked up in there. You need to fish from where the little pilings are against the bank to the mouth of mulat bayou or the other way around depending on the wind.

Must have been doing something wrong then. We weren't using live bait only DOA shrimp under popping corks and mirrodines and different jigs. I have no idea. I'm gonna try to hit the grass around hwy 90 bridges this afternoon.
