Default Topwater

With the nights starting to cool off how long before the top water bite will end for the fall. I'm kinda a newbie to salt water (without a guide) and I'm coming down next weekend to hopefully get one last trip in before hunting season. Hopefully throwing topwater in the morning.

It will be dictated by water temp. Which varies each year. Normally Sept and Oct are great top water months.

is this place still open and is easy to get too. Trying to find the quickest way to wolf bay as we are staying in foley area.

Wolf Bay # 4 - Recent fire at the restaurant

Not the easiest to find. Heading out of Foley, go east on Hwy 98 toward Elberta, turn right onto Hwy 83. Follow signs. Last we checked this is still open but requires a small fee.

Thanks Poppy for the info. That last post may have sounded a little confusing as a copy and posted the bottom half from another site.

Quick question is that ramp at the very north end of wolf bay?
