Default tired of buying bait

<span style="font-family: Georgia;">I know it's inevitable that I will have to buy live bait sometimes, but I was just wondering what you would suggest for me to get and where to get it from. I'm new to fishing so I have no real direction on where to go. I'm not looking for any fish in particular either, I just want some very versatile lures for fishing onshore and off of Bob Sikes.

Get yourself some gulp and some jig heads. 3 inch New Penny Shrimp are a great go to bait, I also like the jerk shads. Play around with the colors...different colors work better for different times of the year, but New Penny seems to be pretty good most of the time.

Good luck!!!!

Try a small pin fish trap. They work great

Invest in a cast net for bait fish, pinfish, and bull minnows are great to use, plus saves you $ in long term..I hardly use live shrimp any more &amp; tend to catch better trout reds on bait fish vs. shrimp..
