Tip of the week - it’s night fishing time Boys
Hit those piers with the green lights now boys and girls. Normally this would be in middle of July to October but water is hot as hell already. If that guy in gulf shores is still making those green lights you can put off your boat I can personally vouch for them.
The underwater lights are the best. I still like live shrimp under a glow in dark cork, ( buy a damn cork, spray print it with glow in dark paint and you are set). I have tried the damn battery powered ones and every damn one has leaked or not lasted more than one trip. Top water can work well too, and well as most anything you would throw during the day.
Get a head lamp and it will really help out. I buy the 5000 or more lumen ones from EBay or Amazon. Green would be best and they are about 20 bucks. Keep them with extra batteries in your boat and they can save your ass on day when you are unexpectedly caught out after dark. Mark the ones that are carrying fish. It’s always the same damn piers or pier groupings.
Post some pics of your fish

I knew a Mathematician who was deathly afraid of negative numbers. He would stop at nothing to avoid them.
