Default State regs

The topic came up with a co-worker and we just weren't 100% sure. If you're fishing Perdido bay does the regs you fish by depend on where you launch from (AL/FL)? This is what we thought but weren't positive. Also what is the limit on AL reds? Is it 2 in the slot 1 out?

I'm not 100% but I believe if you launch in Al. and are fishing in Fl. you must go by Fl. regs while fishing and abide by Al. regs when at the ramp. Fl. law will enforce their regs if checked in Fl. and the same for Al.

FL regs are posession in nature. So if you are fishing in FL waters, you abide by those regulations. Becasuse if you are checked in FL waters, you can bet they will follow the FL regulations to check you and vice versa.

all the answers are correct and the limit in alabama is 2 reds 1 of which may be over slot.
