Default Slick lures

After hearing a lot of talk this month about slick lures I decided to give them a try. I stopped in J&M this afternoon and looked through their selection. They were down to 4 different packs of the larger 4 inch mullet. I didn't see the color schemes that I wanted to try, so I just grabbed a pack of the greenie 280's I believe. I was just curious to which color schemes I should try next and can you do pretty slow retrieves with these?

You should try the pearl with chartreuse tail. They are meant to be worked really really really really slow.

That was the main one I was after. I guess I'll have to go online or wait for it to be restocked.

The only other places that sell them are McCoy's and Tackle This Shoot That, both are in Mobile.

I'll open a can of worms:

They look like Paul Brown's Devil, minus the treble. Any major difference?

I wanted to give them a try, because I like the paul browns and this one I can run weedless setups.

I think the Slick has a little bit better action and covers more water side to side than the PB. And like stated above it is weedless for the most part.
