Silver spoons on the grass flats?
I have read on several posts about using silver spoons on the grass flats for trout and redfish. My questions are specifically what type and size spoon? Steady retrieve or stop and go? Conditions / calm or breezy? / high or low tide? / sunny or overcast?
trying to learn / thanks for the help

1/2 oz Johnson Sprite Silver for trout with a fast jerk and retrieve pace and Gold for reds with a slow, steady retrieve.

Low speed, low drag.

Gold or silver is fine, I prefer the krocadile spoons. Retrieve will be whatever speed that keeps the grass off your spoon.
