Default Shimano Stradic

I recently lost my dads Shimano Stradic 5000 on a 7' custom wrapped Key Largo rod. I left it laying down walked away and it was gone. I was wondering if anybody could help me out and give me some names of an equivalent rod and reel that will cost me less then $350( thats how much my dad spent on his set up). Penn would be nice or even a cheaper Shimano. Thanks in advance.

Is that 129 for just the reel? or the combo?

The saros is 129.99 retail. They make it up to a 4000. If your dads reel was a 5000 and you want to get him the same sized reel then you should look at the Spheros. Very smooth and durable and cost around 130 new.
