Default Ribbonfish

Never caught one before but I've heard of them being caught pretty regularly. Where/when is the best time to catch them? and What do you use for bait? Any help is appreciated.

When I lived in Savannah, I would catch them with small spoons, in the estuary 3 miles from the ocean.

All the ribbonfish that i have ever caught have been at night. They can be caught on almost any small lure that flashes, small gotchas, spinners, spoons or even a small freelined alewife
