Default Redfish in the sound?

Been fishing the sound a lot recently and I've been finding some pretty good trout but no redfish in a few weeks. I was wondering what you guys look for when targeting reds in the sound. What kind of general areas do they congregate in? (deeper water, shallow water, docks, sandy bottom, ect) Also what and how do you fish for them...I've been throwing soft plastics, topwaters and mirrodines.

Thanks for the help!

Find the schools of mullet, then use a lure that resembles a finger mullet or a shrimp.

Grass sandy flats and docks have given me the most luck. Live shrimp under a popping cork or live pinfish

I look for the large schools of pogeys. You can catch bait and fish in the same spot. The wife landed this beast last weekend.
