Default Redfish

I heard about people catching some bull reds in the Pass. What's going on there? Where else can you catch them? New and all help is appreciated!

Bull reds in the Pass are typically resident breeding stock Bulls that are present year round. Look around in the 50'-65' areas on the West side of channel, typically fish baits work the best(pin fish, croakers, thread fin, bull minnows). I use a 2 oz slip lead on 20lb leader and a 3/0 Owner Mutu Lite hook.

This is a trial and error fishery and the fish bite better some days then others. A moving tide is critical though. If the water isn't moving, don't even waste your time.
