Default Question about September inshore

Hello gents, I am from Dallas and going to be at a wedding in Pensacola in early September. Just wondering about the fishing, are the pompano still on the beach at that time, also would appreciate a heads up on trout and flounder then.
Thanks for your time!

Not on your list, but September is usually about the time the bull reds start moving back toward the rivers and smaller bays. Just find an inlet, a ledge and a moving tide. I generally do best from about an hour before daylight to about an hour afterwards on a Mirrolure C17MR before daylight to just after daylight, then switching to an 18MR or 52SS after that. Best wishes,
