Default Post storm inshore?

I've done very little fishing since spring since I've been working out of town. I'm on vacation this week and will be on the water as soon as the wind dies down. Any thoughts or ideas on post storm tactics? Will either be on my kayak or 17' Cape Horn. Thanks in advance!
