Default Oyster Beds

Asking this question makes me feel as if I'm begging for spare change but a man's gotta eat.... Does anyone know of any oyster beds that are reachable/fishable from shore?? Thanks for any tips y'all may have...

I'm located in the Pensacola area but willing to drive a little.... I looked into Ono island by satellite and it appeared to have very few if any access points for outsiders like myself...

You can only get to the ono island reef by boat because it in the middle of the water.
You can access it either by dropping a yak at Galvez launch or holiday harbor marina . That's about the closest you can get without going onto the island.
Unless you can find an access point on the side of beach blvd. which may be possible

In Santa Rosa county, at end of Garcon pt. road, there is approx. 1-1/2 miles of shoreline w/ oyster beds that can be fished from shore IF you are willing to wade/swim a small tidal creek about 20-25 ft. wide & 4-8 ft. deep. after that you can walk all the way to the end of white pt. & back.

Pack bug spray, knats are bad sometimes.
