Default Oil slick coming. Will it effect the East Bay?

I posed this question to some of my co-workers today and they had no clue. Also, I posted a similar question on the Freshwater portion of the forum. But, what about the East Bay, will the oil slick effect the water and fish in the East Bay. Last summer was my first year fishing the East Bay for Reds and Specs. Just looking to get some info to see how my summer may turn out this year. Thanks.

Donno. But shouldt we just protect the pass from the oil coming inshore? Like block up the pass.
