Default October fishing

I am going to Ft Morgan again the first week of October. Been a few times and fished the surf and Little Lagoon. As usual I take all of my gear, 16 ft Carolina Skiff with a 40 horse, fishing kayak, and also fishing cart. Couple of questions: What's the best time to fish Little Lagoon? Also, do you think my skiff could handle Dixey Bar? Any ideas or advice on where to fish and when would be appreciated. THANKS

You can fish Little Lagoon year round.

Trout and reds will start moving up into the rivers during October (Fish, Magnolia, etc).

And fishing the rigs in Mobile Bay is still good in early October.
