New - return to area
I have moved back to FL after 30 years. Dad and I used to fish near Shalimar, the intra-coastal along FWB, plus some Gulf. Thanks for all the info I have found so far.
I have Foster Kids and I want to share the "fishing life" with them like my father did, but can use advice. We will be on a pontoon - leaving Bayou Chico.

Best bet will be to hit the bait & tackle shops. They will give you plenty of advice on where to fish and the required tackle also. Out Cast on Barrancas Ave. will be a good place to start.
A simple Carolina Rig with live Shrimp will catch fish around the Bridges.
Go take the Kids fishing!

what he said^^^^^^^^^^^^
They are having the sale this weekend so there will be plenty of people to talk to and more than willing to help you out and get ya hooked up on some cheap tackle. depending on the kids age probally 3 mile or base area for white trout with some cut bait to keep em occupied.
